In 1980, he recorded his first album for the PPL imprint, simply entitled 'Garry Glenn'.

AI Hudson and the Soul Partners, were recipients of his arranging and keyboard abilities at the start of the Eighties.

He, also, penned songs for the likes of Earth, Wind And Fire, Eddie Kendricks, The Dramatics, The Emotions, Jean Carne and Freddie Jackson.

Garry then teamed up with Anita Baker and toured with her during the 1984 - 85 period.

Feels Good To Feel Good feels good to feel good 1987

He contributed to the 'Police Academy VI' soundtrack before recording a debut album for the label entitled 'Feels Good To Feel Good' (the title tune featuring Sheila Hutchinson of the Emotions).

In 1991, Garry recorded some material for the U.K. Ardent label and had written some songs for his long time friend Byron Woods including 'Look To Me For Love'.

Byron told me, recently, that 'Caught Up In The Rapture' was originally destined for the Isley Brothers, however, when Anita Baker heard the tune she told Garry, 'The song is mine'!

Byron also is recording a tune written by himself and Garry entitled 'Fly Away'.

The album was released in mid 2001. Thanks for the input Byron. Much appreciated.

Garry Glenn passed away from kidney failure on the 18th September 1991, after a long illness.

A retrospective of his work is due in 2004 for the PPL label, which will include some unreleased material.
