Shalamar are an American R&B group, active in the 1970's and 1980's.

They were, originally, created by Soul Train booking agent Dick Griffey and show creator Don Cornelius.

Their best remembered hits were 'Friends', 'Take That To The Bank', 'Second Time Around', 'I Can Make You Feel Good' and 'A Night To Remember'.
