The Moonglows were formed in Cleveland, Ohio, U.S.A, in 1952.

The group comprised:

Bobby Lester (lead singer b. 13th January 1930, Louisville, Kentucky, U.S.A. d. 15th October 1980, U.S.A.)

Harvey Fuqua (b. 27th July 1929, Louisville, Kentucky, U.S.A. d. 6th July 2010, Detroit, Michigan, U.S.A.)

Alexander 'Pete' Graves (b. 17th April 1936, Bessemer, Alabama, U.S.A. d. 2006, U.S.A.)

and

Prentiss Barnes (b. 25th April 1925, Magnolia, Mississippi, U.S.A. d. 30th September 2006, Magnolia, Mississippi, U.S.A.)

The Moonglows were an American vocal group who are best remembered for the hits, 'Sincerely', 'Most of All', 'See Saw' and 'Ten Commandments of Love'.

The groups line-up included Marvin Gaye at one time.

In 1970, Harvey Fuqua, Bobby Lester and Pete Graves reunited as the Moonglows with Doc Williams and Chuck Lewis.

Prentiss Barnes died in a traffic accident on the 30th September 2006 in Magnolia, Mississippi, U.S.A. He Was 81.
