'Night People' was released on the Geffen label and was produced by the legendary Rahni Song.

'(Can't) Get You Out Of My System' was popular amongst UK soul fans and 'Mood For Love' received airplay on the more selective soul stations.

Rahni Song played all the keyboards, bass, drums and Drum Machine programming.

The album also showcased Najee on saxophone.

Incidentally, John's cousin is vocalist Scott White, who attained some recording success during the late Eighties.

John White died for injuries sustained in a car accident in 1994.
