The Cadets came together as a gospel group in 1947, and by the time they were signed to Modern in 1955.
The group comprised:
Willie Davis (first tenor)
Ted Taylor b. 16th February, 1934, Okmulgee, Oklahoma, U.S.A. d. 22nd November, 1987, Lake Charles, Louisiana, U.S.A. (first tenor)
Aaron Collins (second tenor)
Lloyd McGraw (baritone)
and Will 'Dub' Jones (b. 1929, d. 16th January 2000 bass).
